THE "GOLDEN HAT TRICK" DMITRY KOLTAKOV!

This season, the 26-year-old motorcycle racer  Dmitry Koltakov issued a "Golden hat-trick": I won a personal championship of Russia, as well as individual and team world Championships. In April 2017, in the Netherlands Dmitry Koltakov regained the title of world champion in the individual competition, after last season, lost the title to  Dmitry Khomitsevich.

2018 SGP calendar revealed!

2018 FIM Speedway Grand Prix dates revealed, with a new deal for Horsens and an SGP debut for Hallstavik.
The 2018 FIM Speedway Grand Prix calendar has been revealed, with the Danish SGP staying in Horsens for another three years and Swedish venue Hallstavik making its debut.
SGP rights holders BSI Speedway have agreed a fresh three-year contract with AC Horsens and Forum Horsens for the Danish SGP to stay in the Jutland city, with next year’s event taking place on June 30.

FIM Europe at AMZS Awards!

AMZS, the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Slovenia has invited to their traditional Award Ceremony “Motosportnik leta 2017” in the Festivalna Dvorana in Ljubljana. The best Slovenian motorcycle sports athletes were present and received their well-deserved awards. Around 300 riders, families, AMZS officials, clubs, organizers and media came together in a very well organized event. Among the participants were Mr Anton Breznik, AMZS President, Mr Bogdan Gabrovec, President of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia and Dr. Boro Štrumbelj, Director General of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, as well as Dr. Wolfgang Srb, President of FIM Europe. The Slovenian Motocross star Tim Gajser, two times FIM Motocross World Champion (2015 MX2, 2016 MXGP) and one of the best riders in the world, was awarded with a special trophy as Motorsports man of the year.
“Congratulations to AMZS and all those who received their trophies in recognition of their achievements. They are great ambassadors of the sport as well as for Slovenia” stated FIM Europe President Dr. Wolfgang Srb.

The best collection of Speedway bikes and paraphernalia in the world!

From Cinder to Shale arguably the best collection of Speedway bikes and paraphernalia in the world will be open to the public on Sunday 5th November from 10am – 4pm. It is a must see for all speedway enthusiasts and an opportunity for members of the Fans Trust to get together during the close season. Members of the Monarchs Fans Trust will be visiting the Museum on Edgefield Road, Loanhead (EH20 9TB) at about 11am. Hopefully see you there.
